"Easter" Weekend

We took a little trip down to North Carolina, where my parents, and two brothers/families live. We decided that while we had all of the cousins together, we'd have a little Easter egg hunt. The kids decorated Easter buckets, and went in search of the candy-filled plastic eggs that Brandon had hidden in the yard (and a few hard-boiled eggs that the kids decorated were in the mix).

You can tell that Ginger was way more excited about the pin-wheels than decorating a bucket.

But the other kids loved it!

It was SO hard for them to wait for Brandon to finish hiding the eggs.

Ginger's basket didn't have the best design--it kept on tipping over every time she moved! But she had so much fun finding the eggs, and even more fun eating the candy.

Since it was General Conference weekend, the kids would get really antsy hanging out inside for so long. So, we'd send them outside to run up and down the driveway to get the wiggles out! It worked like a charm...

They love Grandma!

Edison was a little slower than the rest.

We had such a great time visiting with family, and Ginger and Edison had so much fun playing with their cousins! Hopefully we can get together again soon!
